Job Detail: Secretary, Case Management FT days 7415
The Case Management secretary performs secretarial, clerical and support services for the Case Management department utilizing knowledge of medical terminology and Medical Center procedures. Answers telephone, schedules appointments, and greets and directs visitors. Maintains files, orders routine supplies as required and completes other duties as requested by the Nursing Directors.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Licensure, Registration, Certifications:
High School diploma or GED.
Sufficient secretarial/clerical experience required preferably in a hospital/medical environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum typing skill of 50 wpm net is required. Required skills include general office and secretarial procedures, business communications and the ability to use general office equipment and a personal computer. Requires accurate spelling, grammar, English skills and legible handwriting. Requires demonstrated human relations and communications skills (verbal and written). Ability to comprehend and follow detailed written and verbal instructions. Ability to work with minimal supervision, work under pressure with time constraints, and concentrate in the presence of distractions. Requires skill to organize and manage multiple tasks and projects. Must work with individuals at all levels of responsibility. Requires experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Power Point.
